Drive Gym Internal Regulations
The assignment of penalties by Drive Gym is based on FIA sporting regulations applied to the analysis of race replays, telemetry, and by evaluating the extent of the damage from collisions. In case of serious collisions, race replays will be examined from various angles (including on-board footage) to accurately assess who caused the impact, thus assigning any extra penalty to the responsible party.
In general, if a mistake is made and the position is clearly returned to the opponent following the collision, no further penalties are given beyond the automatic ones.
Additional time penalties (from +2 sec):
- Cutting the track with a clear gain of time or positions on the track.
- Double change of trajectory under braking to block the opponent WITHOUT INCIDENTS
- Re-entering the track after going off and obstructing an oncoming opponent.
- Rear-end collisions or medium severity collisions where the driver at fault does not return the position
