Competition regulations - February 2026

Participation in our races is subject to passing the elimination qualifying rounds which guarantee the participation of the first 8 or 10 qualifiers (depending on the type of race) with a time less than 7% from the best lap.

The starting grid positions will be those determined by the elimination qualifying ranking. The race will start from a standstill.

News January 2026:In some races, thesprint racewill be introduced instead of the traditional warm-up race. It is a race that lasts about 10 min (half the time of a normal race) and whose starting grid positions are reversed compared to the elimination qualifying ranking. If the sprint is a championship race, it will have half points.

To ensure equal treatment, identical cars with locked setups, the same for all participants, will be used both in qualifying and in the race. In addition, continuous collision monitoring is applied, which generates automatic time penalties to be applied at the end of the race. The number of off-track laps is also counted, which will generate further penalties established by the internal regulations.

The races are still supervised by our staff who can assign additional time penalties after analyzing the replays. There will be intervention during the race only in the case of serious behavioral violationsParticipants may also receive further penalties on the starting grid depending on their Safety Rating  (updated February 2026)

In extreme cases, there is the possibility of expulsion of a driver responsible for unsportsmanlike or violent behavior towards other drivers or our staff, either during or after the virtual competition. It is at the discretion of the Drive Gym management to readmit such a driver to future races.

The final result is the one ratified by the Drive Gym staff and will be based on objective race data (videos, replays, and telemetry).

Any disputes of the result and analysis of the objective race data, will be evaluated on a date after the event. The time taken by Drive Gym staff to evaluate the dispute may be charged if the analysis requires additional evaluation time.

Drive Gym is not responsible for the final result in the event of accidental technical problems such as: server crashes, sudden computer shutdowns, steering device malfunctions, or other types of technical anomalies that may occur unexpectedly during a race.

Therefore, disputes regarding the result will not be accepted in the event of such situations.

All participants are strongly encouraged to arrive at the event well in advance of the race time.
